She was predeceased by: her parents, John Long and Lillian Long (Eldridge); and her siblings, Edward, John, Richard Long and Jean Haney.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert "Sonny" Stearns; and her siblings, Donald (Janet) of Lexington, MA and Patricia Perkins of Tewksbury, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
