Clyde R. Carpenter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clyde R. Carpenter of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Carpenter (Graves); his son Larry Carpenter; his parents, Geraldine Parmalee and Clyde H. Carpenter; and his brother William Carpenter.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Marilyn Orszulak (Midge); his daughters, Alice Quagliaroli (Gary) of Windsor Locks and Laurie Carpenter of East Longmeadow; his grandsons, Mathew Renouf and Michael Quagliaroli (Krystal); his great grandchildren, Xavier, Ellie, Tim Quagliaroli (Kristen), Matthew Renouf, Jordan English (Kristen), Valerie Symonds, Kristi Carpenter, Brandi Carpenter and Alex English; his sisters, Mary Corey (Everett) and Elaine Sika; his sister-in-law Nancy Verizzi; and also, Mila, Rowan and Harper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home (1816 Poquonock Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Clyde's memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
