He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian W. Mathiason, Sr. and Mary Mathiason (Monroe); and his sister Lisa Mathiason. He is survived by: his wife Joan Mathiason (Toce); his children, Christian J. Mathiason (Tracy Ayers) of Enfield and Jennifer Soucy (Michael) of Windsor Locks; his grandchildren, Joshua, Kayleigh, Meghan and Donald; and his siblings, Howard (Elaine) of Mibridge, ME, Robert (Denise) of Stafford Springs, Calvin (Vicki) of Clinton, Jimmy (Carmen) of Haddam and Susan Austin (Jeff) of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
