He was predeceased by: his wife Joan "Bunny" Larson (Derenthal); his parents, Oscar Larson and Anna Larson (Johnson); and his siblings, Raymond E. Larson, Olive L. Granstrand and Marjorie L. Way.
He is survived by: his son Kurt R. Larson of Somers; his granddaughter Julianna J. Larson; and his sister Phyllis M. Tribuzio of Glastonbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
