She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louise C. Ruggeri (Bailey) and Joseph E. Novotny; her godparents, Joseph Caen and Helena Ruggeri; her close friend Denny; her husband Leonard Thomas Werner (Lee); her son David; her granddaughter Cierra Werner; her great grandchildren, Aria Ramos and Nolan Werner; and also, Lois and Ralph Stravato.
She ended up spending the last 15 months of her life in 3 separate nursing homes and in and out of hospitals, surviving COVID 4 times, sepsis, double pneumonia, hypoxia, bed and heal sores and she didn't want a DNR.
