We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 80, Lawrence W. Bates Jr. of Windham, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence W. Sr. Bates and Rose Bates (Dumas). He is survived by: his wife Fran; his daughters, Molly Bates of New York City and Tara Bates of Coventry; his stepchildren, Sara Tremblay of Storrs and Josh Tremblay of Windham; his sisters, Deb Sarni of Block Island, RI, Barbara Bates Blake of North Carolina, Cheryl Schardt of Manchester and Holly Bates of Daniel Island, SC; and his grandchildren, Noah and Chloe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
