He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Murphy; and his father Francisco. He is survived by: his children, Kate Monteiro of Warwick, RI, Stephen Monteiro (Manisha) and Emily Monteiro Morelli of Albuquerque, NM; his grandsons, Dante, Aldo Morelli and Dhruv Monteiro; and his brother Edward Monteiro (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
