Delores B. Hammon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, at the age of 94, Delores B. Hammon (Windham, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Blust and Thelma Blust; her sister Norene Sweet; and her grandson Jeffrey Hammon. She is survived by: her husband Dale Hammon; her sister-in-law Jean Ely; and her nieces and nephews, Bill, Marty, Jim and Tom. She is also survived by wives; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; along with many nephews, nieces as well as close friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Congregational Church of Windham (4 Windham Center Rd, Windham, CT 06280). A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Windham Center Cemetery (219 Windham Center Rd, Windham, CT 06280).
