We bid farewell to Daniel Michael Murphy of Windham, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 25, 2024 at the age of 82. Daniel Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Renee Louise Murphy; his parents, Thomas Murphy and Susan Murphy (O'Hara); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Macht and William Macht.
He is survived by: his children, Richard D. Murphy (Lara Laws) of Westminster, MD and Shawn M. Murphy (Lauren) of Lebanon, CT; his grandchildren, Madison of Lebanon, CT. and Bennett Murphy of Lebanon, CT.; and his sister-in-law Judy Murphy. He is also survived by friends, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bacon Funeral Home (71 Prospect St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (61 Club Rd, Windham, CT 06280).
