He is survived by: his wife Nancy Seward Howard; his sister Ruth Howard Pollinger; his children, Amanda (Avi), Holli and Ash (Julie); and his grandchildren, Solomon, Eliana, Fischer, Lucy and Bodhi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
