Gavel Sr. of Wilton, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gavel and Anna Gavel (Novak); and his brother Ernest John Gavel. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sbarbaro Ribaudo; his children, Linda Gavel Webb, Frank Joseph Gavel, Jr. (Laurie), Stephen Louis Gavel, Andrea Ribaudo Millard (Greg) and James Keith Ribaudo; and his grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Gavel, Rebecca Jane Gavel, Charles Edwin Webb, Charles Edward Francis Millard II and Katherine Elizabeth Millard.
