He was predeceased by: his parents, Haughton Bell and Helen Bell. He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Betsy); his daughters, Leslie S. Bell of Pine Plains, NY and Wendy Bell Bentivegna (Michael) of Southport, CT; his stepdaughters, Laura Billington Helmig (Timothy) of Newtown, CT and Hilary Billington-Powell (Scott) of Portland, OR; his stepgrandchildren, Kevin, Brittney, Elizabeth, Aidan, Quinn, Shaw, Alexandra and Carleton; and his brothers, Malcolm (Nancy) of Randolph, VT and Richard "Tigger" (Craige) of San Jose. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.
