He is survived by: his wife Ellen Essman of Wilton, CT; his sons, Brian James (Niya) of New York, NY, Michael (Anthony) of Philadelphia, PA and William (Natalie) of Newtown, CT; his grandson Rex of Philadelphia; and his brothers, Donald (Michael) of Standish, ME, Stephen (Ann) of Littleton, MA and Mark (Tally) of Beaufort, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
