He is survived by: his spouse Ann-Marie Schlaefer (Silva); his son David Schlaefer of Ashford; his close friend Scott; his daughter Janet Burgess (Jim) of Willington; his granddaughter Amanda; and his sister Jane Morrell of Florida.
