He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shattuck Hopkins and Etta Eugenia Hopkins (Patton); his wife Margery Hopkins (Stroud); and his sister Edith Tarbet (Hopkins). He is survived by: his daughters, Johanna Wolfe (Roger) of Eastford, CT, Jean Schmick (Robert) of Bangor, ME and Rebecca Hopkins of Blue Hill, ME.; and his grandchildren, Christian Wolfe (Sarah) of Woodstock, CT, Meryl Wolfe of Eastford, CT, Gabe, Genevieve Schmick of Bangor, ME, Alex Severnyak, Frederick, MD and Maxim Severnyak.
