He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy H. Crosthwaite Jr. and Cecelia B. Crosthwaite (Barrett); his brother Raymond Crosthwaite; his sisters-in-law, Connie and Sally Crosthwaite; and his nephew Ricky Crosthwaite.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene (Messier); his children, William Jr. of North Windham, John of Windham Center, Kellie Prescott (Bobby) of Windham, Amber Gelinas (Peter) of Willimantic, Jason and Jaime Hart (Danny) of Moosup; his grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Kristina, Justin, Jenise, Kayleigh, Spencer, Emily, Ryeleigh, Juquan, Jyquanjha, Georgia, Mason, Meeah and Sadie; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Hogan, Skylar, Piper and Paislee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
