The passing of Simone R. Veilleux of Willimantic, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Veilleux and Marie Veilleux (Sevigny); her husband Ronald Veilleux; and her siblings, Albert, Robert, Roland, Aline Nye and Lorraine Overturf.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Veilleux; and her stepchildren, Steve Veilleux, Diane Bajek, Linda Knight, Danny Veilleux, Michael Veilleux and Carl Veilleux. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bacon Funeral Home (71 Prospect St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (46 Valley St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (61 Club Rd, Windham, CT 06280).
