She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Darlene and John Henry Smith; her husband David Stoney, Sr.; her parent Carrie Smith (David Lee Stoney, Sr.); her children, Shunta Weatherspoon of San Antonio, TX, David Stoney Jr. and Jameela Stoney Edward (Shan); her grandchildren, Millyhon Stoney of Willimantic, CT, Joseph Weatherspoon of Willimantic, CT, Benjamin Weatherspoon and Mackenzie Weatherspoon of Richmond, VA; her siblings, Pandora Barnwell of New London, CT, Eugene Smith of Willimantic, CT and William Smith Jr. of Groton, CT.; and also, Patricia Pelatti, John Smith and Paul Smith of Willimantic. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
