He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell H. Schweitzer and Mabel Schweitzer; and his son Steve Schweitzer. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Schweitzer (Godbout); his children, Ronald Schweitzer and Ellie; his stepdaughters, Sandra Bourque and Ann Marie Brochu (Roger); and his sister Corinne. He is also survived by three step grandchildren.
