We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 96, Ronald Lawrence Gingras (Willimantic, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Norma; his son Craig; his parents, Bonaventure Gingras and Aldea Gingras (Coutu); and his brother Peter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Eleanor and Alma; his great grandchild Ari; his son Brian Gingras (BG); his daughter-in-law Nancy of Eastford, CT; his grandson Corey Gingras (Brittany Zulkiewicz); his great grandchild Arden (Ari) of Philadelphia, PA; and his grandchildren, Shay Gingras (Oren Thomas) of Minneapolis, MN., Kyle Gingras of Mansfield, CT and Megan Gingras of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to honor Ron's memory make a donation in his name to the Chairlift Fund at the Willimantic Elks (198 Pleasant St, Willimantic, CT 06226) or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
