He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Threasa (Mitchell); his wife Eleanor (Haddad); and his siblings, Theresa Simon, Fred Nassiff, Sam Nassiff and George Mitchell.
He is survived by: his sister Marie Aroian; and his children, Susan, James, Jill (McNaulty), Richard Jr and Sonia (DiGiacomo). He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
