He was predeceased by: his parent Ramón Medina; and his sister Leticia Medina. He is survived by: his mother Dolores Pérez (Zoila L. Díaz); his children, Jeemary Medina and Luis Ramón Medina, Jr.; and his siblings, Eugenia Medina and Raúl Medina. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
