He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Bacon (Phillips); his parents, Edmond Bacon and Yvonne Bacon (Bergevin); and his siblings, George Bacon, Lawrence Bacon and Agnes Sellars.
He is survived by: his children, Louis J. Bacon (Kristen) of Columbia, Glenn Bacon of Willimantic and Diane Schatz (Fred) of Columbia; his granddaughters, Sarah and Samantha Schatz; his sister Alma Zoldak; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Bacon, Arline Bacon, Paula Sherman and Claire Kaminski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
