Leona Woodworth Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Woodworth of Willimantic, Connecticut, born in Windham, Connecticut, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Garmalinsky and Agnes Garmalinsky (Ogeba); her husband Arnold Woodworth, Jr.; and her siblings, Mildred Berry, Jenny Fitzgibbons, Stanley Gormley and William Garmalinsky.

She is survived by: her son Richard Woodworth (Christina); her grandchildren, Stacy Yust and Lindsey Niarhakos (Christopher); and her great grandchildren, Lily, Eleni and Jack Niarhakos.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Covenant Soup Kitchen.
