It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Shaw of Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Irene Sullivan Danehy. She is survived by: her father Thomas Danehy; her children, Tommy Shaw and Jennifer Danehy-Shaw; her grandchildren, Ashley Wallace and Ben Thomas Thwaits; her brothers, Steven and Timothy Danehy; her daughter Elizabeth Shaw; and her close friend Bonnie Blu. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Because of COVID19 masks must be worn and there are capacity limitations.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gerrie's memory to Nachaug Hospital's inpatient program, a program Gerrie found enlightenment, growth and happiness.
