He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Murphy and Susan Murphy of Willimantic. He is survived by: his significant other Judith Murphy; his sons, Douglas Murphy Jr. (Darlene), Steven Murphy Sr. (Carole) and Jonathan Murphy (Kelly); his grandchildren, Douglas Murphy III (Jaime), Kaitlyn Murphy-Keplesky (David), Steven Murphy Jr. (Nicole) and Ryan Murphy (Gisel); his great grandchildren, Madison, Natalia, Antonio and Steven III; and his brother Dan Murphy (Renee). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
