It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Meek (Willimantic, Connecticut), born in Manchester, Connecticut, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Gerich and Minnie Gerich; her husband Robert Meek; her daughter Katherine; her daughter-in-law Nancy Meek; and her brother Olin "Bunky".
She is survived by: her children, Robert Thomas Meek (Yvonne) of Oxford, David Meek of Sun City, Joanne Sweeney (Michael) of Manchester, CT and Douglas Meek (Patricia) of Canterbury, CT. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dottie's memory to the Special Olympics or the American Cancer Society.
