He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph John Sylvester and Ann Theodora Sylvester (Sapienza); his wife Frances Kaye Sylvester (Grubb); his children, Anthony Sylvester, Melanie (Theodore Morrissette) and Joseph Sylvester; his grandchildren, Lisa and Thomas Novack; and his brothers, Richard (late Sharon Sylvester), Peter (Paula Sylvester), Brenden and Riley Morrissette. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Veterans Administration.
