It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores VonHusen of Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Mercier and Lorraine Mercier Ferguson; her stepfather Kenneth Ferguson; her sister Bernice DeCouto; her nephews, Paul and Todd Mercier; and her niece Donna.

She is survived by: her adoptive son Matthew VonHusen; her siblings, Geraldine, Albert of Lebanon, Wilfred Mercier (Linda) of Florida, Maurice Mercier (Ines) of East Hartford and Raymond Mercier (Sandi) of North Windham; and her pet Su-Ling. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Due to Covid, masks are required at calling hours and at the Funeral Mass.
