He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Potter and Gertrude Potter; his wife Carol Chasse of Willimantic, CT; and his siblings, Donald, George, Art, Benny, Ruthy and Arlean.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Potter of Georgia and Steven Potter (Charlene Potter) of Woodstock, CT; and his stepgrandson Benjamin Shipton of Chaplin, CT.
