It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Lucas of Willimantic, Connecticut, born in Medfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopold Gottlieb and Lois Heard Gottlieb; her husband Paul Maxim Lucas; and her brothers, David and Benjamin Gottlieb.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Gottlieb (Betty Jo) of Enfield, CT, Joyce Wisnesky of Enfield, CT and Marjorie Lavoie of Pinehurst, NC; and her children, Paulette Haines (Larry) of Marietta, Georgia, Cheryl Bourgeois (Robert) of Chaplin, CT, Brenda Lucas of Willimantic, CT, Suzanne Lucas-Deneen (Robert) of Windsor, CT, Wayne Lucas (Patrice) of Chaplin, CT, John Lucas (Kristen) of Chaplin, CT and Joel Lucas (Terry Brown) of Old Saybrook, CT.. She is also survived by eleven Grandchildren, nine Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great granddaughter.
