It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Twerdy of Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Twerdy and Augustina Twerdy (Terlecki); and his siblings, Mary, Tessie Twerdy, Stella Smith, Geraldine Santoro, Nicholas, Benedict Jr., Peter, Fred, Walter, Edward, Carl and Paul Twerdy.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Laliberte; his siblings, Leona Gordon and John Twedy (Claire); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Bentley (Lyle) and Ernest Laliberte (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
