He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bassell and Toini Harju Bassell. He is survived by: his wife Jaqueline Thompson Bassell; his children, Cristian Bassell and Tiffany Heath; his pets, Shelby, Lacey, Richard Karwic and Harry Gough; his nieces and nephews, Robert Karwic (Tim Swoape), Amanda Karwic, Glenn, Beth Karwic, Jeffery, Alicia Karwic, Ian, Elizabeth Boccaccio, Cara, Joe Almon, Kalyn and Michael Carmody; and also, Kathleen, Tom Bassell and Barbara.
