He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Howley (Fahey) and Michael Howley; and his siblings, Eileen, Tom, Jim, Patrick "Paddy" and Michael "Mickey".
He is survived by: his siblings, Ned, Julia Foley and Mary Mitchell; his wife Kathleen Conway (Conway); his children, Theresa Miffitt (Ken), Maureen Goulet (Doug), Kathleen Sudol (David), Michael Howley and Bernadette Howley; his grandchildren, Siobhán Climer, Maeve Barton, Kara, Joseph Miffitt, Grace, Clara Sudol and Natalie Howley; and his great grandchildren, Ceilidh and Fionnuala Climer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you simply raise your glass to toast Billy.
