He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Olander and Nora Olander (Knapp). He is survived by: his wife Josephine Olander (Barry); his children, Virginia (Barry Cutkomp), James, Brian and Thomas Jr. (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Aubree, Maggie, Brett, Sophie and Sydney; and his great grandchildren, Dane, Everett, Eden and Blake. He is also survived by 13 siblings.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Christ the King Parish Corpus Christi Church (601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Village Cemetery (1 Marsh St, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, http://www.alz.org. it is the sincerest hope of Thomas' entire family that an end to the indignity associated with this terrible disease will soon be found.
