She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard "Bernie" Maffucci; her parents, Antonio Amato and Rosaria Amato; her grandson Max Maffucci; and her siblings, Anthony, Joseph and Julia.
She is survived by: her children, Mary VanDerLinden (Clinton), Sarah Fournier (Paul), James Maffucci (Tina), Michael Maffucci (Kate), Rosanne Maffucci (Ed Escribano) and John Maffucci (Tammy Lucier); her grandchildren, C. J. VanDerLinden (Kaitlin), Stephanie Boudrow (Phil), Samantha Fournier, Susan (Vinny Errico), Adrianna, Isabella Maffucci, Alex Maffucci, Christina Deprey (Dustin), Amanda Cefaratti and Sean Maffucci; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Abbie, Leah Errico, Ella Deprey and Daphne Boudrow.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home (1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Incarnation (544 Prospect St, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery (1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
