He is survived by: his wife Sheila Carew (Strong) of Wethersfield; his daughter Nancy Simmons (Wayne); his grandchildren, Shannon Rose Simmons, Tyler James Simmons of Hebron and Sean Michael Carew of Wethersfield; his sister-in-law Theresa Carew of Flager Beach; his nieces and nephews, Jack Carew (Susan) of Englewood, James Carew (Sharon) of Wethersfield, Kathy Carew of Wethersfield and Mary Dakin (Lance) of East Hartford; and his cousin Brian Doyle (Barbara) of Stafford Springs.
