The memory of Regina (Hunter) Kustwan of Wethersfield, Connecticut, who passed away on March 10, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard G. Hunter and Shirley H. Hunter (Hauschulz); and her siblings, Patricia McClelland, Richard G. Hunter Jr. and Edward R. Hunter.
She is survived by: her husband Walter J. Kustwan; her siblings, Virginia A. Hunter of South Windsor, John A. Hunter (Charlene) of Coventry, Lawrence P. Hunter (Karen) of Westerly, RI and James S. Hunter (Deborah) of Amston; her siblings-in-law, Rev. Deborah Galtere (Glenn Galtere) of Port St, Russell McClelland (Nancy) of Tilton, NH and Beth Hunter of Dunbarton; her niece Kimberly; and her nephew David.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (523 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, CT 06066).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
