She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edyth W. Darby (Jacobsen) and Calvin W. Darby; her great-grandparent Nicoline (Fia); her daughters, Kristina Brown (Layne), Deborah Scully of Hartford, CT, Kimberly Hall (Bradford) of Red Hook, NY and Megan Galvin of Wethersfield, CT.; her siblings, Peter and Priscilla (Harvey); her grandchildren, Johanna Oppel (Tim), Kara Smith (Shawn), Anson Brown (Ashley), Addison Brown (Brooke), Brianne Scully, Harrison Scully, Nathaniel Hall (Olivia), Lydia Hall and Daniel MacDougall; her great grandchildren, Mason Oppel, Braydon Oppel, Savannah Smith, Harper Brown, Avery Brown, Emryn Brown and Krystal MacDougall; her brother-in-law Alan MacDougall; her cousin Steve Gain; her former husband James MacDougall; and her grandparents, Nicoline, Lauritz Jacobsen, Samuel, Ida Darby and Phillip Galvin. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She began volunteering at the Mormon genealogy Library, after spending years there doing her own research, and did so until the COVID pandemic closed the library.
