She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald Doherty; her parents, Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and Winifred Tynan (Hurley); her children, Joanie Darling (Dave) of Killingworth, Maura Thompson (DJ) of Higganum and John Doherty (Carrie) of Long Meadow, MA.; her grandchildren, Clare Mack (Jon), Kathleen Darling, Donny, Danny Thompson, Emily, Jack, Lilah, Lux and Seraphina Doherty; her great grandchildren, Addison and Emery Mack; and her sisters, Alyce Bogdan (late Edward), Maureen Witherell, Patricia Speight (late Jerome), Joan Sullivan (late James), Elizabeth Hurney (late Robert) and Rita Hassett (late Richard). She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
