She was predeceased by: her husband James Payette (Navy); and her parents, David Van Ausdall and Edith Tjarks Van Ausdall. She is survived by: her children, Robin Neary (James), Dr. Kim Payette-Hwang (John Hwang) and Steven Payette (Jeneit); her grandchildren, Rebecca Pereira, Alexander Harlow, Dr. Alyssa Payette, Julia Hwang, Kassandra Payette and Sophia Hwang; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Rollins and Bellahmi Harlow; her sister Gay Van Ausdall; and her niece Emily Bilodeau.
