John C. Vardal Obituary
In loving memory of John C. Vardal of Wethersfield, Connecticut, born in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, who departed this world on March 10, 2025 at the age of 53. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Marilyn Vardal and Menelaos Vardal; his girlfriend Melissa Walden; his children, Antonia, Christian and Jamie Vardal; the mother of his children Julie Vardal; and his siblings, Michael and Kira (Dan Mozzicato). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home (34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral (433 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114).
