It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Earl Emond Jr. (Wethersfield, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Howard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Emond (Apisso). He is survived by: his father Howard Earl Emond Sr.; his son Christopher Alan Emond; his wife Cecily Emond (Leel); his children, Matthew Emond (Laura Emond) and Jodi Emond (Jeremy Carson); his grandsons, Oliver Emond and Ryder Carson; and his brothers, Robert Emond (Sandy) and Dr. Ronald Emond (Debbie). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel (277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) in honor of Howie's hard-fought battle with the debilitating disease.
