He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catello Gioia and Marie Gioia; his wife Patricia (Leonard); his sons, Gilbert J Gioia Jr. (Jessica) of Newington and Gregory J Gioia (Amara) of Florida; his siblings, Terri Gahler (Robert) of Colorado, Carmellia Kimmel (David) of Southington and Gerald Gioia (Barbara) of Plainville; his grandchildren, Ashley P. Lundberg (Gioia), Dylan Taylor, Elisa Taylor, Clay Taylor, Jessica Gioia, Michael Gioia, Matthew Gioia and Sarah Gioia; and his great grandchildren, Emilee, Danielle, Zachary and Jaxson. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and close special friends.
