Murphy of Wethersfield, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred M. Murphy of Wethersfield; her parents, Gerald T. Joyce and Mary Joyce (Corcoran); her children, Sue-Ellen Lyons and Kevin Murphy; and her brother Richard Joyce.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Sywenkyj (Peter) of Wethersfield; her grandchildren, Kara Brunk (Zach), Erin Allard (David), Ryan Murphy, Abigail Sywenkyj and Sophia Sywenkyj; her great grandchildren, Elle, Avery and William; her children-in-law, Chris Lyons and Sharon Parro; her sister-in-law Valerie Joyce (William Scheide); and her caregiver New England Nightingales. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
