He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fote and Rita Fote (Sposito); his wife Denise Fote (McNeil); his son Donald Fote, Jr.; and his brothers, Charlie and Dr. Joseph Fote.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Fote and Christopher Fote (Hannah); his grandchildren, Nora, Quinn and John Fote; and his siblings, Dr. John Fote (Lorraine), Michael Fote (Sharon) and Diane Payne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
