Bates (Wethersfield, Connecticut), born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on January 15, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard S. Bates and Florence Bates (Kaval); his daughter Kari Tardiff (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Jada Elliott of Burlington and Ryan Tardiff of Burlington; and his siblings, William K. Bates (Mary) of Punta Gorda, FL, Marilyn Jello of Norwich, Howard R. Bates (Barbara) of Lebanon and Richard (Estelle Bates) of Port Charlotte, FL.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
