He was predeceased by: his parent Clifford Canfield; and his sister Elaine Ricci. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Canfield (Collins); his brother David M. Canfield (Deborah) of Hamburg, NY; his nephew David Canfield, Jr.; his nieces, Rachel McCann and Alicia Wicka; and also, Cliff and East Hampton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cliff's memory may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
