It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Burns of Wethersfield, Connecticut, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Burns to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Albert and Albertine Albert; her sisters, Jeannine Michaud and Patricia; her brother-in-law Edward Wadsworth; her daughter Deborah; and her son-in-law Daniel House.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly (Michael Gilland); her grandchildren, Kathleen of Wethersfield and Sean of Wethersfield; her son Robert Burns of Hartford; her siblings, Marguerite Gaudette, Arthur (Ruth Albert), Daniel (Lois Albert) and Constance (Val Nichols); and her pets, Shamrock and Axel. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Incarnation, Wethersfield, CT, Thursday, August 26th at 10 a.m. Cathy loved animals and donations in her memory can be made to the ASPCA at ASPCA.org.
