He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Birmingham and Ruth Birmingham (Miller). He is survived by: his children, Candice Birmingham of Rocky Hill, Theresa Birmingham of Rocky Hill, Erica Carew (Joshua Carew) of Rocky Hill, Alan "AJ" Robert Birmingham, Jr. (Lauren Birmingham) and Wethersfield; his grandchildren, Mark of Rocky Hill, Maddox of Rocky Hill and Memphis Carew of Rocky Hill; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Cynthia Birmingham of Broadbrook; his sister Joyce; his brother-in-law Dr. Raymond Kurker of South Windsor; and his friend Andrea Beaty.
